What is a Canadian writer?

MG Vassanji probes the topic of being accepted as a Canadian in his essay, Am I a Canadian Writer? About thirty years ago, Vassanji was part of a panel about Home as Mythical Space at the Desh Pradesh gathering in Toronto. Read his thoughts about “home” then and his essay now.
