Am Johal interviewed Rungh Editor Zool Suleman for Simon Fraser University’s “Under the Radar” podcast  which posted on July 23, 2024. A copy of the podcast and the accompanying transcript has also been posted to Rungh’s archive documentation page as a part of Rungh’s strategy to create multiple archived sources for information related to Rungh.

The podcast includes information about Rungh’s journey from the Black Arts movement in Great Britain in the 1980’s, to the Desh Pardesh gatherings in the 1990s in Toronto, to Rungh’s role in the Local Colour protest against the Vancouver Art Gallery, to the formation of the Minquon Panchayat as a protest against Canada’s artist run centre movement, to Rungh’s relaunch in 2017 at the Primary Colours gathering, as well as reflections about how the term “South Asian” references different communities over the past thirty years.
