Jenelle Pasiechnik
Jenelle Pasiechnik lives as an uninvited guest on the traditional territories of thie Ligwilda'xw speaking people; the We Wai Kai, Wei Wai Kum, and Kwiakah First Nations. She has held the position of Curator of Contemporary Art at the Campbell River Art Gallery since 2018. The focus of her graduate studies and curatorial work is centered on promoting and giving space to underrepresented positions within contemporary art, and the need to open discourses and exhibitions spaces to accept alternative narratives of cultural production and ways of seeing the world.
