
Dana Edmonds
Dana Edmonds is a Montréal-born multidisciplinary artist and designer of African Nova Scotian heritage. Working across painting, printmaking, textiles, and digital media, her practice examines overconsumption, cognitive dissonance, and the lingering residue of colonial economies within contemporary fashion, culture, and the environment. She has presented solo exhibitions at Gallery 101 (Ottawa) and the Warren G. Flowers Gallery (Montréal, upcoming October 2025), and completed BAiR residencies at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. Edmonds is a four-time grant recipient from the Canada Council for the Arts, the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, and the Montréal Arts Council. She received her BFA from NSCAD University and lives and works in Montréal.
