Sukaina Kubba was born in Baghdad and grew up in the UAE and Canada. With degrees in Architecture from McGill University Montreal and with ten years architectural experience, Sukaina then went on to complete an MLitt at the Glasgow school of Art. Recent shows include 'Work Out' at Hilary Crisp, London, 'Le Swimming' included as part of Glasgow International 2014 and 'Pavor Nocturnus' at Kendall Koppe Gallery. She works with a variety of materials within the canon of painting including latex, PVC, Polyester, silk and found objects.
