Siima Itabaaza is a writer exploring the intersections between the arts and everyday life. Her work focuses on how the arts challenge, influence and complicate gender, race and societal norms.

Siima's articles have been published in SUNU Journal, gal-dem, and Third Text. She has participated in and moderated panel discussions at the South by Southwest (SXSW), Film Africa, and ourselves + others: African feminist re-CREATIONS festivals. She is also the founder of Kutimba With Siima, a podcast that offers insightful analysis of global cultural, social and political issues.
