Shiraz Dossa is a Professor of Political Science at St. Francis Xavier University (Nova Scotia). His numerous publications include The Public Realm and The Public Self: The Political Theory of Hannah Arendt (Wilfrid Laurier University Press, 1989) and Reinventing Asia: Post- Modernism and the Third World in Asian Thought And Society (NY) (September-December 1992). He received his Ph.D. in political theory from the University of Toronto in 1982.
