Amy Leung (she/her) is a second-generation settler of Chinese and Japanese descent, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Geography at the University of British Columbia. Born and raised on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded lands of the Musqueam People, she is grateful to work, live, and learn on these lands as an uninvited guest. This upcoming fall, Amy will begin her Juris Doctor studies, with the goal of becoming a lawyer dedicated to climate justice. While her primary focus is on environmental sustainability, she is also passionate about the experiences of Asian Canadians and the Asian diaspora, as well as Asian literature and film.
