Random Acts of Legacy Film Screening
Filmmaker Ali Kazimi attended the launch of his documentary, Random Acts of Legacy, at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design. This film explores the home movies of a Chinese American family from 1936 to 1951 and explores the contexts of Asian American life, racism and the human condition. Introduced by Professor Henry Tsang, the filmmaker is interviewed by Professor Chris Lee in a wide ranging conversation, which was documented by Rungh and has been provided for your viewing.
