Adrienne Fast

Adrienne Fast is the Curator of Art & Visual Culture at the Reach Gallery Museum in Abbotsford, BC. She holds a PhD in South Asian art history from the University of British Columbia, and an MA in art history and archaeology from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Her academic interests have focused particularly on historical and modern art from Asia, but in her curatorial practice she has developed a diverse range of exhibitions, from historical First Nations art from the Northwest Coast to experimental installation and performance art in Vancouver in the 1960s and 70s, to contemporary performance photography.

Before joining The Reach, Fast served as Interim Curator of the Kamloops Art Gallery, and previously she was an Assistant Curator at the Vancouver Art Gallery. She has taught undergraduate university courses on South Asian art history in both Canada and the US, and she recently served as a Faculty Associate with the South Asian Studies Institute at the University of the Fraser Valley.
