Art + Feminism
Wikipedia Edit-a-thon 2019

Rungh is committed to documenting art stories. Help us to balance the gender imbalance by writing article entries on Wikipedia about female artists, feminist art movements, histories of cis and trans women, and non-binary persons.

This event, in partnership with the Surrey Art Gallery, and funded by the Cultural Grants Program of the City of Surrey, will provide an opportunity to create and update Wikipedia pages as related to artist who appeared in the print version of Rungh from 1992 to 1999. Participants will also be invited to create entries of artist of their own choice within the theme of Art + Feminism.

Bring your own laptop, power cord, and your ideas.

There will be a Training Event held at the Surrey Art Gallery on Saturday, February 23 from 1:00 to 2:30pm.

The Wikipedia Edit-a-thon will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 12noon to 4:00pm.

Register for both events on the Rungh Events page or directly via Eventbrite.

Refreshments will be provided.
