Junie Désil is a Haitian-Canadian poet who has performed at various literary events and festivals. Her work has appeared in Room Magazine and was recently shortlisted for Prism International's Pacific Poetry Prize. Junie currently lives on the traditional and unceded territories of Coast Salish peoples and the Qayqayt First Nation (New Westminster), juggling writing and life.
